Prime Minister Narendra Modi with cupboard ministers on the swearing-in ceremony in New Delhi on June 9.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sworn into workplace for the third time on Sunday in a grand ceremony on the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, alongside 30 cupboard ministers. Notably absent from the record had been former cupboard ministers like Smriti Irani and Rajeev Chandrasekhar, who misplaced within the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Shock additions to the cupboard included BJP President JP Nadda, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Chirag Paswan.

President Droupadi Murmu administered the oaths of workplace and secrecy to the newly appointed members of the Council of Ministers on the occasion.

“Took oath as Prime Minister on the ceremony earlier this night. I stay up for serving 140 crore Indians and dealing with the Council of Ministers to take India to new heights of progress,” Modi posted on ‘X’ (previously Twitter).

In whole, 72 ministers had been sworn into workplace, together with 30 cupboard ministers, 36 Ministers of State (MoS), and 5 MoS with impartial cost. Because the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering didn’t safe a majority by itself on this 12 months’s polls, a number of extra Nationwide Democratic Alliance members have joined the record.
