The Problem

We’re in search of an skilled Engineering Technician to affix our Division 6 District 2 crew.

On this position, you’ll:

• Course of and assessment driveway permits, website plans, utility and non-utility encroachment agreements, subdivision plans, and highway additions/abandonments.
• Carry out on-site inspections for compliance to NCDOT specs for driveway permits, encroachments, and subdivisions.
• Conduct pre-construction conferences with requesting events.

• Meet with utility representatives, contractors, property homeowners, and others to debate adherence to insurance policies and procedures, reply questions, and deal with complaints from the general public by cellphone, written correspondence, and in particular person.

• Help our District Engineer with different duties.
