The Division of Income has prolonged the tenure of employees loaned to the Competitors Fee of India (CCI) to deal with circumstances of the Nationwide Anti-Profiteering Authority (NAA) for a further six months, based on sources. This extension is the third granted by the income division.
The CCI can utilise the employees till September 31, 2024. The mandate of the NAA, initially arrange below the Central Items and Service Act in December 2017, was transferred to the CCI in December 2022.
